Bromagen Commodities, like all providers in the financial services industry, is now required by law to inform their customers of their policies regarding privacy of information. Types of Nonpublic Personal Information We Collect

In providing you with financial services, or information about such services, Bromagen Commodities may collect the following types of Personal Information:

  • Information we receive from your Futures Commission Merchants (FCM), Introducing Broker (if applicable) or from you on account applications, whether written or electronic, or on other forms (including on-line forms). This information would include your name, address, social security number, income, investment experience, and so forth.
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others. This information could include your trading through the FCMs, our affiliates and others, your history of meeting margin calls, and your use of the various products and services that we and our affiliates provide.
  • Information about your creditworthiness, credit history, and other information about you that we receive from consumer reporting agencies, our affiliates, your FCMs, Introducing Broker (if applicable), or providers of of the demographic information, such as your purchasing or investment preferences.
  • Information about you obtained in connection with our efforts to protect against fraud or unauthorized use of your account(s) with us.

 

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

For current and former clients, we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our business except as required or permitted by law. Required disclosures include, for instance, complying with subpoenas, and requests from governmental agencies and regulatory authorities. Permitted disclosures include, for instance, providing information to our employees, and in limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you. In all such situations, we stress the confidential nature of information being shared.

 

Protecting the Confidentiality and Security of Current and Former Clients' Information

We retain records relating to services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with regulatory guidelines. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards.

You do not need to call, or do anything as a result of this notice. It is meant to inform you of how we safeguard your nonpublic personal financial information. We recognize and respect the privacy concerns of our potential, current and former customers, and are committed to safeguarding nonpublic personal information. As a member of the financial services industry, we are making available this Notice of Privacy Policy for informational purposes and will update it and distribute it as required by law.
